The Long Now Foundation is hosting a public event exploring intelligence across biological, synthetic and interspecies systems.
Scheduled for 10 November 2026 at San Francisco’s Cowell Theater, Entangled Intelligences brings together neuroscientist David Eagleman, synthetic biologist Michael Levin, theoretical physicist Sara Imari Walker, computer scientist Jaron Lanier and other contributors. The programme considers how intelligence arises in different forms of life and organisation, and what encounters between biological and artificial systems might reveal. The organiser advertises a livestream and currently offers a waitlist for in-person attendance.
